Shrimp

A wide range of diagnostic services is offered for those involved in the shrimp industry including histology, gene probe assays, PCR assays, bacterial isolation and identification and antibiotic sensitivities.

Viral Detection by PCR - A certificate of analysis is included in the assay price.

Photographs of the gels are available at an additional cost.

The turn around time for PCR is less than 5 working days from receipt of samples for 5 or more samples (rush orders can be accommodated upon request).

The turn around time for histology is 5 working days from receipt of samples.

Notification of results is via phone or e-mail. A full report, including photographs of slides are available at an additional cost.

Fish

Diagnostic services include necropsy, histology and bacteriology.

Bivalves

Diagnostic services include histology and bacteriology

Certification is available for bivalve parasites, such as Dermo, QPX and MSX

Bioassays

Testing suitability of the water supply for postlarval survival

Ionic profiles of water supply
